Foundational Basketball for Ages 5–10
The Blitz Kids Program is run across Ancaster, Hamilton, and Binbrook — offering boys and girls ages 5 to 10 the perfect introduction to basketball. Designed and led by Blitz Senior Coaches Stefano Giovannangeli, Chris D'Angela, Mike DiFederico, Len Moccia and Anne Howell this high-energy program focuses on fundamentals, movement, teamwork, and confidence-building — all in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
Each session is aligned with Canada Basketball’s Developmental Pathway and Canadian Sport 4 Life’s Long-Term Athlete Development model, ensuring athletes learn the right skills, the right way.
Program Highlights
- Maximum rep opportunities with small group sizes
- Experienced adult coaches with a focus on skill development and fun
- Lowered hoops for proper shooting form and confidence
- Age-appropriate curriculum developed by coaches with decades of experience
- Sessions include movement games, drills, and modified gameplay
